Meet The Face Behind Pine Creek Transportation Service

I’m David Burnell, the proud owner of Pine Creek Transportation Service.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I started working as a driver in the transportation industry over twenty years ago. While I found the role enjoyable, I always felt my destiny was to make a real impact on my community and decided to focus on non-emergency wheelchair medical transportation.

Before getting started, I wanted to analyze if my social enterprise was feasible, so I surveyed healthcare facilities. The results were astounding, as I found that there was a definite need for wheelchair transportation. I didn’t waste any time and soon got to work on my mission in 2003.

Over the past sixteen years, we have gone from side loading wheelchair vans to rear loading ones, which has made it a safer way to provide our service. It also puts clients in the proper direction to travel, which makes the journey more fun.

The most enjoyable part of my service is assisting clients that have gone through bariatric surgery. Also, many people in rural areas do not have access to such a service, so helping them get from Point A to Point B at an affordable price has earned respect.

I work with honesty and provide a high level of customer service, by training my team to be responsible, treat customers with dignity, and with the same care and attention that they would give their family members.

I believe it’s not just about who is running the company, but the people who represent the firm and strive for excellence every day. Many people ask if I am the owner, and when I reply in the affirmative, they share the wonderful experience that they received from my crew. 

As a business owner, nothing gives greater satisfaction than receiving fantastic feedback from clients. Thanks to the hard work, efforts, and attitude of my staff members, the company has been able to make a mark, and it has also led to a substantial amount of referrals.

When I am not organizing transportation, I love to breed German Shepherds, who are the perfect companion for exploring the outdoors. I also enjoy camping and fishing with my family in Wisconsin.
